Chemical Transportation

Since 1987, FCL has been serving the bulk transportation needs of chemical customers across the country. We have terminal operations in Chicago, IL and New Castle, DE.

FCL operates a safe, updated fleet of a broad range of trailers to meet customer needs.

Our trailer fleet includes insulated single and multi compartment non-insulated aluminum and stainless steel, and a range of tractors with unloading equipment including pumps, air compressor, fittings, and reducers.

We offer real-time shipment status through our GPS based tracking system. Our Central Dispatch system allows for efficient, economical logistics coordination to improve capacity of our resources for you, our customer.

ISO Container Transportation

FCL entered into the ISO container transportation market in late 2006. We utilize new lightweight chassis to maximize payload. We utilize our Chicago depot to enable us to provide a full service center complete with tank wash, heavy and light lifts, as well as maintenance. Our resources also include experience load planners and drivers. We can service all Chicago rail hubs, and our trucks are GPS-enabled to provide accurate load tracking.

Freight Brokerage

First Choice has the capability of handling one single bulk shipment for you on a spot basis situation or becoming your entire logistics solution by managing all your bulk transportation needs.

We will ensure that the logistics functions are provided to allow your production schedules to meet with your shipping schedules required by your customers.

We have many carrier partners that work daily for FCL to increase capacity to get shipments moved to locations all over the United States and portions of Canada. We manage these carriers so you are free from the challenges of dealing with multiple carriers. This always saves you time and will improve your schedule to concentrate on other aspects of your core business.

Dedicated Services

As experienced transportation drivers become harder to find, First Choice offers our customers a solution which enables them to transfer their resources to other portions of their core business by applying our Dedicated Services solution.

We can provide your company with our drivers and tractors to transport your freight on a dedicated basis. Our drivers report to your location and become your drivers specifically handling your shipments. The advantage is you have the same driver seeing your customers regularly. You can redirect your current transportation costs to other sources within your budget and trust us to do the transportation logistics with the satisfaction of having your own employee drivers without the costs and management time necessary to manage your own private fleet.

Tank Trailer Leasing

Several of our customers have utilized our ability to lease them tank trailers for storage on a short term or long term basis. There is a need on some occasions because a customer's storage tanks are full, or there is a special product the customer is producing, or due to expansion within a plant for additional tank capacity, one or several trailers are needed.

We can provide this service on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis. Simply notify our sales department for additional details and information.
